The Mission
Nico's Nook Book Club is a place to allow children to connect in-person over a fun book and an educational craft! Members will not only be able to enjoy a good story and a creative activity, but also practice social skills and be part of a community.
Leading Nico's Nook Book Club
Nico's Nook Book Club was founded and will be led by Alicia Silberman. Alicia is a mother to a wonderful son who inspired this venture, but also a former teacher of 10 years and is currently a private tutor. Alicia earned her BA in English Literature and has MAs in Secondary Education, Adult Education and Liberal Studies. Alicia also earned a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership and is currently finishing a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Alicia holds a current AZ teaching certificate and fingerprint clearance card.
